 MEETING

WELCOME AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

At 6:34 pm Chair Mike Courtemanche called the meeting to order, welcomed those present and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

The Selectboard members discussed in length but not limited to the following goals:

 

  • Selectboard priorities listings
  • Personnel Policies
  • Town Plan-Flood Plan
  • Wage Grid
  • Review Employee Wages
  • Town Invested Funds
  • Abandoned Vehicle Policy
  • Approval of Job Descriptions
  • Identify and Prioritize Legal Issues
  • Camera-Sound and Audio Visual

 

Mike Courtemanche stated that he would like to see communication with staff members and volunteers to improve. Each member had a list of goals that was shared with the members. Some items still need to be finalized and new items were brought up along with creating a data base to access information more freely. Other ideas included a citizen’s recognition on a monthly basis.  Each member was in agreement of the importance of all the goals that were brought to the table.

 

LEN HOWARD MADE THE MOTION TO ALLOW THE TREASURER TO CUT A CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF $160.00 FROM THE GIFTS AND CONTRUBUTIONS FUND FOR A CITZEN. ROBERT MILLER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED WITH 4 AYES AND 1 NAY.

 

LEN HOWARD MADE THE MOTION TO ADJOURN. MIKE BALL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED.         

 

 Adjourned @ 7:06 PM. NEXT MEETING March 15, 2010 at 6:30 PM.
